The Pirates of Penzance
by W.S. Gilbert and A. Sullivan
Pirates is a
rollicking musical comedy that pokes good-natured fun at respectable
society and those with a strong sense of duty. Shiver me timbers,
"The Pirates of Penzance" has swash-buckling adventure to please the crustiest
sea dog, a love story told with soaring beautiful melodies that will melt the
hearts of even the most dread pirate and his lady fair, plus lots of
light-hearted laughs designed to make you forget a sea full of troubles.
The Surrey Arts Centre Studio Theatre will be
transformed into the Penzance seashore from May 13 to 23.
