Play Submittals for White Rock Players Club, 2010 – 2011 Season
White Rock Players Club invites submittals of plays to be included in the
2010 – 2011 Season, to be presented at the Coast Capital Playhouse, White
Rock. Directors should consider plays to fit the following production
framework:
Show 1: October
Murder / horror / thriller; straight or comedy
Show 2: December
Pantomime
Show 3: February
Romance / romantic comedy
Show 4: April
Any genre, must suit travel to TBC Festival
Show 5: June
Any genre but prefer comedy if Show 4 is drama.
Directors are requested to submit the following:
Covering letter, including contact details, preferred production date(s),
and resume
Synopsis of the script plus set, technical and costume requirements
Two copies of the script, original or copy, which will be returned
after evaluation if so requested.

Submittals will be evaluated in conjunction with White Rock Players Club’s
play selection process. If a submittal is accepted, the production will
form part of White Rock Players Club’s season.
If a play is separately being considered by the Club’s play selection
committee, the submittal will be returned, and the director will be
considered if the play is included in the season. If the scheduling of an
accepted submittal cannot be agreed between the Club and the director, the
Club guarantees that it will not produce that play for two seasons without
the director’s consent.
White Rock Players Club has presented community theatre since 1944, and owns
